We've been huge fans of SiteSell.com's Site Build It product since we first heard about it.  We've published a few sites (and seen a solid revenue stream) through their engine but always regretted the fact that we couldn't use FrontPage to make those sites.

That has all changed.

Site Build It recently announced HTML Compatibility that allows you to upload your own HTML files into their engine.

In short, FrontPage CAN BE USED TO build Site Build It sites.  We've been using the product for some time now and are thrilled with the results.  We know you will as well.

And, we wouldn't be FrontPage World if we weren't providing tools to make even easier.  See the last bullet on this page for more ;-)

As with revision 1 of anything, there are a few hiccups:

• You can't use any of the FrontPage specific tools when building your Site Build It site.  These include: FrontPage Themes, FrontPage Navigational Elements, Included Content, FrontPage Generated DHTML or Scripting.
   
• You need to follow their directory structure for your site.  Their structure is not FrontPage's default structure so you'll need to adjust things to make it "work" right.  It isn't that hard but you'll need to play by their rules.
   
• If you are used to rapid site development with FrontPage, you are going to find that this process slow.  It is a slow process but it is a very effective one. 

Here are a few recommendations:

• Visit Site Build It and realize that what they say is true.  The product really is that great and with FrontPage as your page developer, it just got better.  Sign up for a site now, we guarantee the HTML upload elements will be up before you are ready to start using it.
   
• Sign up for our newsletter below.  We are going to launch a Site Build It site of our own using nothing other than FrontPage and Site Build It.  The newsletter will keep you up to date with our efforts and show you exactly how we did what we did.
   
• We have built a series of FrontPage Templates specifically for use with Site Build It.  You might want to consider using one of those to build your Web site.
